Pastor Doug and Dr. Leslie flew into Trinidad in
August to begin a great journey with the members
of Jesus Worship Centre as the Holy Spirit was
planning on changing everyone’s lives!
During the weekend, we had a chance to attend 2
prayers meetings – one with the church and one
with over 100 pastors and intercessors from all
over Trinidad praying for their cities and country.
During both services the anointing of God was
strong as everyone prayed for strongholds to be
bound and the Lord’s anointing and fire to be
loosed.
Dr. Leslie taught on the 23rd Psalm – “Confessions
of a Sheep"– at the Jesus Worship Centre, Sunday
morning. The people were able to understand and
confess all the promises of God. This psalm
addresses our total safety and protection;
prosperity, peace and rest; not being led astray by
strange doctrines; our freedom from self-
condemnation; being in the perfect will of God; our
health; our future in this world; being continually
filled with the Holy Spirit; working for the Lord; and
knowing our future in the future world to come.
The camp began on Monday through Friday. Dr.
Leslie taught each morning on the teaching series
“Which Tree Do You Swing From?” It is the will of
God for us to be blessed and to live in the fullness
of all His promises, so we can give the glory to Him.
By choosing the tree of life, this can be
accomplished. This study helps the believer
identify which tree - the tree of life or the tree of
knowledge of good and evil - they are living from,
and how to receive revelation knowledge of the
liberty we have in Christ everyday! It was exciting
to see the people receiving the revelation of God’s
Word to implement in their lives.
The evening services were a mighty time of Holy
Spirit anointing. There were salvations,
deliverances, miracles and celebrations each
evening. A group received the baptism of the Holy
Spirit. The teachings included “ The Fire of God”;
“The Blood of Jesus”; “Carnal or Spiritual?”; and
“How to Bless and Be a Blessing”.
Several afternoons Dr. Leslie taught on “The
Functions of Leader” and “Leaders Behind the
Pastor’s Vision”. She also conducted a session on
“Banner and Flag Ministry.”
On Sunday, Dr. Leslie and Pastor Doug were invited
to teach and minister at S.H.A.L.O.M. Ministries.
There was a great ministry time after the teaching
on “Victory in His Peace” during the morning
service. We were invited to attend a family party as
they celebrated the baby's dedication.
That evening, Dr. Leslie taught on “The Six spirits
Against the Church.” Both churches came together
to make a declaration to bind these spirits so they
can do God’s purposes in their lives and
ministries.
We had a great time with our host pastors, Pastor
Kris and Shelia. We thank them for their generous
hospitality and kindness towards us. We got to
spend much time talking and praying for both
ministries and our families. We also thank Pastor
Shaddy and Diana from S.H.A.L.O.M. for welcoming
us and allowing us to teach and minister with their
body.
The people of Trinidad are very special and
became like family to us. Their prayer for the
conference was to be changed and we believe all
of us will never be the same again as Holy Spirit
continues to teach and move in our lives to give
God the glory and show Him to others!
