Leadership Development Trainings:
Effective Leadership - Functions of a Leader
If a leader is a person who is directing, commanding or guiding and the head
of a group or activity, then they have to go before and say, “Come to me."
The leader is the door, just as the greatest leader, Jesus, showed us.

Leaders’ Role in Following the Pastor’s Vision
A leader needs other leaders around and with him/her to accomplish the
goals of the ministry  Each one stands out as a leader but they also
understand they stand with their leader. A great leader is a great leader
because of the people who stand with them.  This is a study on the role of
those leaders following the leader.

Curses & Hindrances Against Leadership
The Church should be the most respected entity that exists on the face of
the earth.  But, satan has reproached God’s covenant people since creation.
He always has disdained and detested what God honors.  The world today
sneers at the sacredness of marriage, Christian values in child raising and
church attendance.  Under the enemies influence, people speak words of ill
to reduce and minimize God’s creation.  Anyone who speaks against the
promises of God is a cursed person.  It's time to identify, isolate and eradicate
to fulfill the Great Commission!

The Six spirits Against the Church
The devil has declared all out war against the Church. We must know his
strategy, then be on the offense to push back the gates of hell.  We must
come out of complacency – get marching – declare war – put our strategy
into place.

The Lord’s Challenge to the Church
Pastors, leaders and followers of Jesus are understanding that the spiritual
forces against the church are true and unfortunately thriving in our
churches and ministries all over the world today. There is a diabolical
spiritual force seeking to deceive, defile, and destroy God’s chosen leaders -
the jezebel spirit.  Revelation 2:20-23 is very clear about this.  This spirit
wants to silence the pastors/leaders, God’s prophetic voices and abort
intercessory prayer.  This study identifies the characteristics and also how to
deal biblically with it to eradicate the influence over the ministry.

Don't Eat the Peanut Butter
There is a strongman called the spirit of offense - a prince of the air- who is
greatly affecting the Body of Christ.  God has called us to wage war in the
spiritual realm to set at liberty those who are bound, captive and hindered.
satan does not want us to receive from God - and there are many Christians
who are under the control of this spirit of offense and it is controlling their
minds, their soul man.  This is causing splits, fights and bickerings within the
Body.  This study identifies who this spirit is, the objective and the affect it
has on the Body of Christ.  The study looks at what triggers this curse and
stronghold in our lives, how we can identify it, isolate it and eradicate it.

The Key to Being the Best Leader
Learn why some leaders are more extraordinary than others and have more
success.  The key elements addressed are how to give the best to your team
and then how to get the best from them.

A Successful Team comes from a Successful Coach
A successful coach is good at equipping, developing and motivating their
team to succeed.   They must have a great understanding of how to develop a
team.  Learn six reasons why this comes about.

PRACTICAL SKILLS for Leaders

Communication – Getting the Results You Need
The participant will look at the communication model to better understand
both the sender’s and receiver’s responsibilities in the communication flow.
Then they will address the importance of giving effective constructive and
positive feedback, resulting in keeping communication lines open.  Jesus
and Paul were effective communicators and this session looks at how they
accomplished this.

Handling the Difficult Person
Learn how to keep a conversation productive by determining what path their
communication is taking and whether it is productive or not; and to predict
what type of response they will receive when they ask a question or make a
statement.  Using this information, the speaker will be able to direct the
communication flow to produce more effective dialog and get results needed.

Organizational Behaviors – Optimize Your Team
When leaders are working with their teams, each member brings their own
personality traits that can affect the dynamics of the team.  A great leader
learns to identify these traits and then use the knowledge to help
communicate with each person as well as be able to help direct the actions
within the organization to help maintain a good productive working
environment.

More Efficiency – The Best of Time Management
The participants will be able to identify both their strengths and weaknesses
in time management and how to best utilize their time to meet deadlines and
goals.

Desired Results by Effective Delegation
To help the participant to better identify their delegation skills and to be able
to effectively delegate to get desired results.  We learn from a great delegator
- Nehemiah!

Avoid the Pitfalls of Goal Setting
Goal setting is an important part of being successful for a person in the
ministry and in life.  This workshop helps the participant to be able to make
quality goals to meet their objectives.  See how Jesus, Moses, Noah, Paul and
others used this skill to be effective for God's Kingdom.

Understanding the Motivational Gifts
We answer two questions:  Why do I act this way?   Why do others act the
way they do?  This is a study of the foundational gifts given to the church
and the practical aspects of walking in these gifts. It helps the follower of
Jesus to identify their gifting so they can be used mightily in the Kingdom to
accomplish all God has called them to do.  It also helps the person
understand why others act the way they do and how to work in unity.

Conflict Management/Problem Solving
Problems are a fact of life when working with people. It’s a rare day that goes
by without one. Problem-solving is one of a leader's most important functions.

The Importance of Proper Documentation
It is important for churches, businesses, and organizations to understand
why documentation is necessary and in many situations required for legal
issues.  This session reviews the liabilities and procedures in documenting
and addressing employee/team member issues.   The steps to handling these
conversations and how  to properly document is also discussed to make the
conversation proactive for all concerned. Also, a review of the importance of
background check and drug testing procedures and developing procedural
manuals.
